The charming tiddler TiddlyWiki has sprouted lots of off-shoots. Here are some I’m looking at currently:
- ServerSideWiki – powered by RoR and TiddlyWiki – looks very cool; but the code is not available as it’s run on a commercial basis.
- PhpTiddlyWiki -TiddlyWiki with a PHP/MySQL backend
- YATWA
- TiddlyWikiRemote – provides a ServerSide storage capacity
- QwikiWeb – a WebsiteOriented adaptation of TiddlyWiki
Saving and updating the wiki is the big issue – not just locally. Interesting to see how different developers approach this.
Update 11 Nov.: I’ve just been alerted to Clint’s TiddlyStyles site. It looks very info-rich and I look forward to exploring it.
This really is a tiddly world!
