My name is – not surprisingly – Britta and I live in New Zealand, in the sunny region of Nelson.

I am retired and devote myself to my dog, my husband and gaming. Roughly in that order.

I live on Twitter where you can find me @Food4Dogs.

  1. Well I’m not sure if you remember me Britta, but I was one of your students on LVS Online for your Short Story course. I must say your advice has struck with me. I still plug away at the keyboard, although not as often as I would like. I’ve submitted several stories, but none have been picked up…yet! My web page has several of my stories listed if you’d like to take a peek.

    Take Care! 🙂

    1. Hi Trev,

what a surprise to hear from you – yes, of course I remember. 🙂

Glad to hear you’re still writing, and good on you for making stories available on your blog.
Hoping to get back into writing myself!

      All the best,

  2. Hi Britta:
One of the exercises in the LVS course you taught resulted in a small piece about a wedding ring. I dug it up again, revised and edited and have submitted it to a postcard competition…. I’ll let you know the results. I am working on a compilation of poetry and short shorts about relationships and still hoping to find an agent or publisher for my children’s rhyming story…
Don’t know if I told you but I have also been pursuing an interest in painting that has taken time away from my writing. I’m trying to strike a balance between the two.. not easy… my artwork website is http://www.wendiedonabie.com
    Great to be in touch….

    1. I shall enjoy exploring your art website – in fact, just peeking at it, I’m blown away by what I see! And there is a quote from Robert Bresson, one of the film makers I’m really heavily into (I can bore people to tears with my dissections of his films!). As so many years ago, in the LVS galaxy, we seem to be on a similar wave length. I see you’re on Gmail, so will add you to my contacts there, as that is what I use mostly these days.
